Well,
I'm kind of pissed off because I preorderded this game for £40 and after a couple of days of playing it I got the dlc error and I haven't played the game for months which is really annoying so I think that all the people that have got this dlc problem should get the dlc for free because you can get this game for like £20 now so people that got the error could of saved £20 so yeah I mean 800 msp is nothing like the amount of £20-£40...
It is also a shame because I had just completed the quest "House Always Wins" and saved the game straight after talking to House in the Lucky 38 and the next day I was really excited to see what I had to do next and I got this [censored] load of bull crap. :brokencomputer:
As much as a part of me totally agrees with: "They should compensate us for losing our games!", never going to happen. I am upset about the game pulling this whole: "DLC not available" crap. I'm a bit MORE upset that the PC seems to have already received a number of patches for bug fixes, while the consoles have gotten one (that I know of). I understand that Sony and MS are a bit dikeish in their "we need to certify your stuff" approach. I just don't understand why it seems to take so much longer for consoles to get a patch compared to the PC. The only way I could see somebody actually using the "MS is taking forever to certify" would be if you are DONE with the patch and are just waiting for it to go live, so that becomes a moot point unless you are, as previously mentioned, done with the patch.
When I play a game, I expect to at least be able to FINISH the game. Glitches/bugs are expected, even after extensive QA, but a bug that causes your saves to become un-useable... that's going a bit too far. I've been a fan of Fallout since it was being produced by Black Isle, and I like what Bethesda/Obsidian are doing with the series (content wise), it's a nice update to the series while trying to keep the old feel full of obscure references, wacky NPC's, strange humor, etc...
Just do us a favor and take a bit more time (when producing...not on patches) when it comes to putting out a good game like this.
