so now that the sony e3 conference is over; what are your intentions bethesda for making sure a great right f/tprpg like fallout will have move support. i really want to ditch the controller as i find its immature for my skill level; like its stupid that i should be getting carpel tunnel for being good at a game. i really want you guys to have move support at launch of fallout new vegas. there is no reason why a navigator and move cannot be implemented properly.
I'm sorry, but this game will not be getting the Move. It's just not going to happen. Motion controls are not just something you throw into a game at the last minute. Even if they started implementing them as soon as the finish what they're already working on, you'd be looking at a release date of late summer or early fall 2011. It's not worth the wait.
Not to mention the Move is not even out on the market yet. How do you know it's going to be good? To put it in a game as soon as it came on the market would probably make the game very buggy and just not worth it.
Also, immature for your skill level? That really doesn't even make sense. Besides, RPG's were never supposed to be about your skill level. They are about character skill, and enhancing and leveling up your character. And the various ways you're going to have to hold the Move are probably going to be just as likely to give you carpal tunnel as holding a controller.
Motion controls have always been a gimmick to draw in the casual gaming audience. They are not yet meant to be used in a game like this, and definitely not one that hasn't been built from the ground up with support for them. They do not belong in a Bethesda or Obsidian RPG.
