Remnants power armor. Its modest and it looks great with fan at the back and all. Authentic enclave power armor.

Of all the power armors in Fallout new vegas, all i want is more armors so i can repair my the original BoS armor with no faction connection at all :)
And i would be great to see more power armors from the Enclave i Dlcs or something.. For my tesla armor really needs a repair :D

I voted Remnants, but it was close between that and T-51b. Both look great and perform quite well.

As for new power armors? I don't know. Anything, so long as its unique and we really haven't seen it before.

I think an armor with the looks of the chinese stealth armor and the stats of power armor would be awesome. It could have a stealth field, but only if you have stealth boys. They would be used as a kind of ammo or battery for the suit. when used it gives you the same effect as a stealthboy, but you could make them last less time then normal. Also you could limit how many stealthboys that are around.

In effect you combine both the fallout 3 stealth armor and normal power armor and add limitations to the same. Make it a prototype armor that never got into mass production(mainly because it wasn't practical) Lets say it had side effects because the armor amplifies the stealth boys to a point that can cause an addictive effect. to much use has good points and bad, but the bad out ways the good.

Lets say intelligence is reduced by 1 and strength and endurance are increased by 1 after every 5 uses, but after a while your health starts going down. It's kinda like whats supposed to happen when you get a deadly dose of radiation.

The armor is great even without the stealth part, the stealth part is just a bonus, well maybe

Most of the nostalgia gear hasn't aged well IMO. The remnants power armor isn't an exception.

I voted ADV PA Mark II ~but I don't like the recent remakes in FO3 or NV; I prefer the original mesh models from Fallout 2.

*Also the armor didn't have the fan it had a radiation warning symbol over the power pack.

Remnants power armor here. Only because I havent come across any other enclave power armor. I also havent found the winterized power armor but I doubt that would be something to wear in a desert setting.

It fits perfectly. Prototypes of the armor had a nasty tendency to explode. The only reason why the Fallout 2 fan didn't rotate is because it couldn't. Having the fan go was impossible with 2d sprites. Personally I think NV nailed it.

Of course it was possible, but it was not a fan, it was a decal, a radiation symbol.

I'm pretty sure it was a fan, but due to graphical limitations they couldn't do anything with it.

Well... The way to find out is to ask Chris Avelone, but in the meantime... Compare and decide for yourself (that's all any of us can do).

Personally, I don't see the sense in designing a combat infantry suit with a moving bullseye on the back.
A fan means a weak spot in the armor.

As opposed to... the stationary bullseye of a big black and yellow radiation symbol that says "Hi, I'm here! Aim for me! Hahahastealth".

That's not the point.
No one is hiding in that 'get up'. A fan is an obvious weak spot, while the cosmetic radiation decal can rest over heavy armor plate. Its just dumb, and not needed; and even if it was needed, the task would be better suited to recessed vents.

In either case it doesn't matter, as it did not exist on the armor originally ~that alone makes it silly to add.

I honestly hadn't given it that much thought. I think the fan looks kind of neat.

Seeing how Chris and many other former Black Isle Studios employees headed the design in NV, I think it's safe to say that they would say it was a fan.

Edit: You didn't notice that Remnants Power Armor has less health than T-45d or T-51b?

I use the Remnant armor and I have to say the fan isnt a weak spot. Take a look at it, it almost looks like the fan is sitting atop the back of the suit and all the fan does is pull air either in or out of the suit with a small slit vent at the very top of the back of the suit. You need a fan reguardless considering if the suit is fusion/fission based powered you needd a way to cool the system down. Not to mention if the suits have air conditioning designed into it, you also need a fan to move air across the condenser inorder to remove heat from the suit.

In any case I say its a fan over a radiation symbol.

Fallout: New Vegas: T51-b Power Armor for the DT and Rad Resistance.
Fallout 3: Winterized T51-b Power Armor for the DR, the Health of it, and the Rad Resistance.
New Ones: (Master Chief Power Armor, but that can only be obtained via mods, which I don't have)
Golden Visor T51-b Power Armor
Radiant T51-b Power Armor- The Power Armor would be shiny instead of dull.
Radiant T45-d Power Armor- The Power Armor would be shiny instead of dull.
Legion T51-b Power Armor- The Power Armor would be painted red and black with the golden bull on the briastpiece.
Legion T45-d Power Armor- The Power Armor would be painted red and black with the golden bull on the briastpiece.
Flak Power Armor- Like a Flak Jacket, but it would be resistant to exposives and guns.
Super Advanced Power Armor- Very advanced power armor, with DT of 30
Trench Power Armor- Black Power Armor with trench cape and night vision visor. (Power armor version of the NCR Ranger Combat Armor, but its not owned by the NCR)

"Radiant T51-b Power Armor- The Power Armor would be shiny instead of dull."

That's actually how I imagined how T-51bs would look like. The Brotherhood was religious about power armor and more than likely ritualistically spit-shined it.
