Power Armor

I liked Outcast power armor the best. I think it might have been a cool faction in New Vegas, especially with the turmoil in the Brotherhood in the Vegas chapter.

I have a feeling the Western BoS would have attacked Lyons and Outcast did not.

Damn this one is a hard one because I like them all. I chose the T-51b Winterized Power Armor.

I'll split the difference and say MWBoS :celebration:

Just down to West and East. I say West. I see no reason as to why they would be in as much trouble as the Mojave Chapter. Brotherhood have been around since 2077. They could have bases all over California. They have a bunker at the Den. BoS get leads on tech they go find it. They could be in areas NCR has not made it to yet.

Lyons is very small. DC is not that big, really its nothing when you size it with NCR. Lyons has a chapter there but the chapter is split (Outcasts).. Once the more experienced dies off they will be in trouble. Problem with bringing in new blood is that they arn't family. Their loyalties could be elsewhere when things get to bad.

At some point Maxson is going to want to go back. Or Western BoS is going to go looking for him.

That is a plot hole. BoS knows Lyons went Native and yet they don't care that Lyons has with him the last Maxson? The Outcast did not try to get him back, or take him with them?

mmmm interesting so in real terms the BOS outcasts arnet really outcasts there actually doing what the BOS should be doing in the first place. So in other words Lyons and her whole crew is the outcasts.

Yes. Lyons is the one that went Native. Outcasts are the ones that are trying to stick to the original mission/codex.

Oucasts were not that BoS in FO3. If they were supposed to be the "true brotherhood" they would have tried to take Maxson with them. They would be attacking Lyons people and so on. Or very least move on to somewhere else.

I actually like How Lyons changed things. They should actually help the people instead of being technology psychopaths.

I have yet to make a character that wears power armor.. I enjoy my agility too much I guess. In F3 I wore the ranger combat armor for most characters.. In FNV my first character stuck to reinforced leather, After Dead Money came out I switched to the security armor.

But why??

Too much DT.
Too much work to get the Training perk.
Too heavy.
Too clunky.
Lowers agility.
Not to mention ugly as hell for the most of the time and feels incredibly out of place most of the time.

I'll go with Leather Jacket any day, every day. :fallout:

Your wrong on so many levels. It had a good much of DT not to much. It was not that hard to get the Training perk for it plz. It was heavy but then it has its benefits. It lowers agility by what 1 or 2 plz thats not that much. I dont know why your saying its ugly unless your talking about the enclave remnants power armor. The botherhood armor was awsome and cool looking it was by far epic. Leather jacket svcks its DT is like 7. Ohhhh thats real high if your going to be fighting powder gangers.

I'm not wrong, the DT makes an already easy game even more easy, no reason in walking around in it since you're basically in god-mode when wearing it so it highly unbalances the game if one uses it (/fact) which is a negative thing "for me". (/opinion)

It is hard to get, you need to complete Arcade's quest or the BOS questline which just feels like a choir to do in order to get the perk every time. /Opinion

I value my stat points, I hate having -1 or -2 in anything. /opinion

The armor looks like some space marine crap but not only that, they're too small.
The armor is suppose to be an exoskeleton, it's suppose to be huge. /fact
But they look really pathetic and just like a bunch of plates slapped together in NV. /opinion

I don't care about having a high DT since the enemies in this game are all crap.
Why should I use a high DT armor?
Nothing will be able to kill me in it.
If I wanted to play as a god I'd turn the difficulty down to Very Easy.
So for me Leather Jacket is awesome. /opinion

Well, the T-51d looked even worse in FO3, only one I liked was the Hellfire armor but even then all power armors had the same minimized look.

And I play on Very Hard actually.

... Nope.
T-41d is what BOS and Outcasts used in FO3 while Enclave used some new design.
While T-51b and the Advanced Power Armor is used by BOS and Remnants in NV.

Very Hard just changes stats on enemies, give them some +dmg and +health.
Personally I think that the difficulties svck and change things from one hit kills to bullet sponges.

yes thats kinda bull i thought it would also make the game harder in every aspect but i need hardcoe for that. I was pretty sure that in Both F3 and NV they used t-45b armor pretty postive. The remnants dont even count in NV gabriel it makes me mad when you bring them up because they play a very small part in the game. Its just the BOS.

Remnants is the only other PA wearing faction in the game and since I took two factions from FO3 I had to take two from NV no matter the size of it.
And yeah I kinda hoped that the difficulty settings would make enemies get better tactics, equipment, stats and quantity.
Instead if just lowers or raises health and damage.

That's what I mean, the difficulty slider should have added more and better tactics to the enemies, trying to flank you with melee while giving support with ranged and throwing grenades and stuff if you hide behind something.
But enemy AI is hard to program.

The Brotherhood? They use mostly Brotherhood T-51bs in New Vegas, though sometimes a couple will spawn with T-45d helmets.
