Though the video was a little dry at least he didn't go running around like an idiot attacking random people then complaining that he died over and over again.

I also did not like the textures they used in the office. Those are straight from fallout 3...

Of course I have. I still don't think it fits into a Fallout game.

O_o

NCR.
Vault City.
Lost Hills.
San Francisco.
Parts of New Reno.

Dude, it fits fallout just fine.
If you've only played fallout 3 then I think I can understand why you feel that way.
But there were four games before Fallout 3.
Take a look at them and you'll understand it fits. :)

I just think that Fallout should be more rusty and less flashy. And I'm sticking to my opinion.

Of course, to each their own.
You have the right to your opinion but might I ask why you think it should stay a ruined wasteland and not have any rebirth?

The guy has a point. A theme all over the games, to a lesser or greater extent, is that the people of the wasteland are attempting to rebuild civilzation. With New Vegas, that may have been an easier task than some other places, since it was as far as I heard not directly hit by the bombs (thus, the infrastructure should be far less damaged compared to the capital wasteland).

Many people would argue that New Reno and San Francisco didn't belong in Fallout to begin with, and hence, Vegas wouldn't either.

Why do people feel that Reno and Fransisca doesn't belong in Fallout?

Have you only played Fallout 3? If that is so I understand. But I must remind you that there were 4 games before this one. Which had places like New Reno and San Fransisco. Just look at the picture in this http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Desperado. Besides, I think I need a breather, a breath of fresh air. I need to go to a blue skied non radioactive flashy city for a little bit. It's a good time to take a breath of fresh air and go gamble. (and maybe play more Fallout 2)

Or you could avoid Vegas altogether :P

Also he was using the third person mechanic the entire time instead of iron sights.
