And Gannon should get steam punk looking goggles.

That is something that I would most definitely steal from him. Then again, I just hope there are more goggle variants in general. I need something to block out the dust from my eyes, especially in a place like New Vegas.

Yeah, I thought the biker goggles were pretty badass, with the right outfit combination :) It also made a lot of sence, I'm thinking dust storms and all that (when I think post-apocalyptica I also think dust storms, but Fallout has none, just the mentioning of huge radioactive tornadoes.)

I think Texas is suppose to be a gigantic radioactive dustbowl. It'd be interesting if minor dust storms happened in certain parts of the map, taking points out of your perception unless you're wearing goggles or a helmet. I suppose we'll see. Either way, we see dust being kicked up in the wind in Fallout 3 all of the time, so I'd assume that goggles would make a lot of sense.

Or it would just counter with the Per bonus.

But rather have it the way you stated.

Loved wearing the stormchasers hat and goggles. But a bit odd to have 2 sets on yourself considering the stormchaser gave you a set of goggles worn on the brim of the hat.

Finally listened to the podcast and realized my question got Mr. Bergman to confirm the Vaquero outfit would be in the game (as well as unlocking companion armors through their questline) Rock'n'Roll.

I was under the impression that Arcade was a techie, not a tincan.

He is a former Enclave techie, hence his suit of Enclave APA.

Is that what is confirmed to be his upgrade outfit? If not, I still iterate that he seems to be portrated as a technician, not a soldier and enclave APA does not seem to fit for him.

Arcade is a carry over from Van Buren. In Van Buren, he was former Enclave. In the official character description for New Vegas he is described as having a "mysterious past". Also, around that time images were released of a suit of Advanced Power armor. Since we already know that the Enclave will not play a role in Fallout: New Vegas, the most obvious guess would be the APA came from Arcade.

Only the soldiers of the Enclave wore the power armor, the rest, the scientists and others seen in FO2 and FO3 were wearing either vault suits, labcoats or some sort of weird variation of a radiation suit.

I'm not really sure why he would have a suit of Advanced Power Armor around unless he took/stole it.

Because the Enclave disbanded. I'm sure he wouldn't be the only one to take a souvenir. It isn't certain, but it is certainly likely.

Maybe he told them he would like to have a copy to be able to advance/improve the overall design specs.

In any case, I look forward to finding that power armor and forcing him to wear Raul's vaquero outfit.

Lets see him talk about philosophy while dressed like one of the Three Amigos.

Again, arcade gannon's backstory could have been changed from Van Buren, it wouldn't be the first time elements from van buren were pulled into new vegas and then altered.

The APA could be found inside a vault or bunker somewhere. Or perhaps there is an enclave "holdout" faction.

Again, it isn't certain, but it is certainly likely. The backstory is there. The "quest reward" element is there. The armor is there. They might have his mysterious past be that he was a rodeo clown who dodged buckin' bignorners and his final costume is a set of suspenders and a round red nose, but I somehow doubt it.

They way I look at it is this- he was originally going to be an Enclave grunt. An infantryman. A power armored jack booted thug.
Now he's a scientist.
Who's to say he's even still from the Enclave?
He might have been a scientist affiliated with a different group.
Personally, I think it would be cool if he was ex-enclave, but I'm not holding my breath.
