i dont like it. it feels great everytime you dominate someone in tf2 but i hate it even more when i get dominated. i always go out of my way to try to kill that one guy
And thats the point, Valve implemented this feature to have a sense of closeness between player who are total strangers. I'm sure when you play against your friend on public servers, you will go out of your way to kill him, he plays sniper? u play spy. He plays spy? you play pyro. Along wih the freeze kill cam, it makes you remember each of your enemies in a kinda small negative reinforcement kinda way. This is fine since TF2 is a game targeted to hardcoe FPS online community.
but this isn't gonna work for brink, brink is quite a hard game to juggle, since its trying to push a lot of boundries. When you play games like CoD 4(i know I know) or BC2 or TF2, you kinda expect a fairly hardcoe player base and expect a fair bit of competition. I'm fairly new to the online gaming community, and when I first played tf2 it wasn't easy, you get thrown into the deep end and bombarded with terms you have no idea of, not to mention a sizable population of people who are a tad too focused on winning. Dominations don't help get the first timer get a feel for the game.
