The patch is live!

Though a complicated post (To me at least, hey's its 1:30am here), this does bring up a point.

Some bugs may not appear to be immediately fixed, so it may be worth finding an interior cells with no NPCs and waiting three days for the cell resets and see if that clears the issue. May not always work, but always worth a go.

Yeah sorry I'm running on cold & flu meds right now so I'm a little too loopy to organize a sentience properly- let alone an entire paragraph. That's brain work and right now my brain is floating about 4 feet above my body and delirious with fever. Gotta love winter. Hopefully these neuraminidase inhibitors work as advertised. Sigh if I was somewhere where it was 1:30 AM they would have been so much cheaper too. Thankfully there was that whole scare about this particular one (the one that works) causing bronchiospasm and death so it's still POM/RX as opposed to over the counter. Then it would be like 20 times more expensive here then it is there.

Well, the day still reverts to Sunday when you load a save - so I don't know if traders will be updating their inventory - and the crafting menu is still glitchy; so there doesn't appear to much change to the .exe. I guess it's mostly quest scripting fixes.

Maybe I'll start a new game and see if that does anything.

Now fixed...if you wait 3 days and save it will then load correctly - not Sunday.

i wonder if archivinvalidation still works or is it broken again like after the 285 patch?
only after some changes in the ini order with the bsa dummy file it was working again, any new problems now after the new patch or is the patch 285 solution still working?

Everyday is like Sunday - Morrissey

It is cool that they fixed the Morrissey bug.

EDIT: I always thought it was a feature, but since they fixed it, I guess not.

Fixed if you just load a save (but that was never broken), but still broken if you quit out of the game and then relaunch it. It still resets to Sunday.

For me, the fix only works I don't exit from the game. If I exit the game completely, then start it back up and load a savegame, the day is reset to Sunday.

I've asked this many times but never gotten an answer, please answer this time since the patch is now out. Have you looked at/fixed the halved FPS issue that some of us ATI users have experienced since the last patch (probably got broke when you fixed the Nvidia problems with DirectX)? There's nothing about it in the new patch notes and I can't check because I won't have my gaming computer handy until a couple of weeks from now.

Halved FPS sounds an awful lot like vsync to me. They changed something in the last patch because D3DOverrider used to not be able to work with NV. It didn't chime when starting up. On my nvidia card, I don't even need D3DOverrider with this game since it appears vsync is triple buffered by deafault, but that might just be nvidia. You should give it a try

Some places just have a lower FPS period, such as the sewers by freeside, most caves, vault 21, etc. Even on a good PC

Some objects disapearing when getting closer or wont disapearing when picked up. And entering in the V.A.T.S. crashes game again.
