I ordered via steam - says it will unlock around 0100 on friday (methinks I'll be up all night)
What about you guys who have a physical disc being delivered? Will you be playing sometime today, or Friday morning?

Can't wait, argh the pain of anticipation.

I always recived games I've pre-ordered from an online retail store on fridays, I think this will be no different.

Doesn't really matter if someone recived it today though, as they wouldn't be able to play it until tomorrow anyway. They need to unlock it on Steam too.

I bought the game from a store (yes, i have pics to proof that it did happen), the disc just contained the steam install thing and the activation code, oh and the manual. Looks good when fallout 3 and New vegas are on the same shelf, next to each other.

I bought the game yesterday in a retailstore around the corner. Can't play it either, needs to unlock on Steam as well.

There might've been something of a 2 month difference between a European and an American release long time ago, but at least IF you got your hands on an American release, you could play it when you actually had the discs in your hand :P

do think the worst thing is that pirates are already playing this game- so once again those of us who are honest and paid for the game are being punished. just got my game in the post this morning- i know its only one day but does upset me that i can't play it till tommorrow- while other people who are not paying can. just shows that this type of thing can do more harm than good.

I live in Italy and order from on-line shops in the UK.
My card was billed on 19 Oct, I received an email yesterday (20 Oct) saying FONV was posted. I should received the disks sometime next week, maybe Tues or Weds. Even then, I will wait until the big rush to activate has calmed down. I don't mind cos I have been following the initial release bug-fest that always happens.

Also gives more time for the modders to convert the FO3 mods I like over to FONV so they will be available when I start to play. Been downloading some already ...
