Most hated enemy?

We shall compile a rogue's gallery of NV's worst foes. Whether you hate them because they're difficult, cheap, glitchy, or just dumb, share with the community your frustrations (and your strategies for killing/avoiding said enemy).

Me? It's Night Stalkers, all the way. I started encountering them regularly at around lv.6, and at this point it's like fighting 6 Yao Guais at once. One Stalker is formidable enough, but 3 or more kills you within seconds. As it happens, my complaints about these creatures include every aforementioned category:

Difficult: Easily one of the most formidable enemies I've encountered in Fallout. They require significant strategy and planning to defeat, and waste all my hallow-points.

Cheap: Their lunging attack knocks you back, and disrupts your aim MID-VATS (!!!). One second you'll be blasting their heads in VATS, only to have your aim disrupted with your remaining shots pointed at the ceiling of a cave. Way to go.

Glitchy: So far, only about 10% of VATS shots actually damage these buggers. They have the amazing ability to completely ignore 4 VATS shots to the head with 0 damage. This is a consistant problem with me (though not once I haven't encountered with other enemies - it's just at its worst with Night Stalkers).

Dumb: Who would engineer a creature that was half-coyote, half-rattle snake? Why?

Legionaries.

I don't know how, I don't know why; but for guys who wear clothing that barely passes for armor, they sure can take a plasma bolt/laser beam to the face well.

That and the fact they pronounce Caesar "Kay-sar" really grates my nerves. [censored] tribals ><

My first encounter with these guys aw me snipig them from atop a tent, while they scrambled around helplessly on the ground. When I killed one with relative ease, I got cocky and decided to finish the other two on the ground. I died in seconds.

Is it just me, or are giant radscorpions much more powerful in this game than the last? Or are they just appearing sooner?

I'd have to agree with you on that. Came across a good number of them at once and the rendered Boone and Rex unconsious within seconds.

maybe you should pay more attention in history idiot. they didnt use the soft c sound, they used a hard K sound, as seen in

Ker-ber-us (Cerberus)
Kay-sar (Cesare)
and other words. maybe you should just learn to accept the little things.

I saw a sign stating "Deathclaws Ahead"...and turned the other way. Giant Radscorpions are bad enough for now.
