No, I didn't investigate, oh my, what a terrible person I am for opening my box (and wanting to be surprised by the little gifts I got), seeing a pack of playing cards marked as "playing cards" and making the HORRIBLE OUTRAGEOUS assumption they would be standard playing cards, ya know, like every other deck of playing cards in the world (outside of MTG and whatnot).

Why, it's a shame you have a bad logic sense. My only dissappointments are I already saw all of those dev diaries on the DVD I was hoping it'd be new footage.

What I did was to make some high resolution scans of the different backs. After arranging them via photoshop, I printed out sheets of the backs on glossy card stock. Right now, a couple buddies and I are cutting them out. Once that is done, I have 8 packs of brand new bicycle cards to which we will be affixing the prints to the back with archival glue. We plan to turn our 3x weekly poker nights into 2x weekly poker 1x weekly caravan. Ought to be a blast.

I'm only disappointed in the collector's edition because it didn't come with anything really displayable. I always have my F3 bobblehead out some where and I keep things in the lunchbox. The hardcover comic is sweet though... just can't really do anything with the cards/chip.

I'm working on a shadowbox to mount my chips I already have one with real chips from Las Vegas so why not one with 'real' chips from New Vegas?

Thats really cool. I dont want to mess the cards up so I took them out, looked at them all and put them back. I love the different backs. Its not the same old back to every card. Its different.

I'd like to get something like those pennies in glass cases so you could see the front and back. But basically, apart from occasionally glancing at them, I keep them all in my CE box so they stay in good condition, my f3 set is the same, except I display my VB bobblehead.

I keep my lunchbox, bobblehead, and pipboy clock from the surivival edition boxed up. Eventually I want to make a shadowbox diorama with all 3 in it with some 'aged' 'newspapers' as a backdrop. I already have several photoshop images I made using in game assets to add to it when I get around to having it done.

Actually, the question I have is why would you want to use your limited edition collectible pack of cards to play with? In case you didn't know, cards get bent and corners get folded and generally wear and tear would reduce your collector's item to bent up cardstock. Or maybe it would add 'authenticity'? You can buy a standard legal deck of cards for cheap if you want to play cards. This is a collector's item that's not meant to be used, but rather looked at and enjoyed.

The cards are an Art Pack.. Can't believe you'd want to play with them anyway. Your supposed to take them out.. look at the pretty.. and put them back in the box. Or not unwrap them at all to make your collectors edition valuable in the far away future. Did you also expect to take the chips to vegas and be able to cash them in?
