New Game +?

Another RPG basic is trying various different characters and seeing how and what can be done differently. I realise it's the popular thing to have god characters that do everything, but not powergaming has its fun moments too.
If you want to be some min/maxing munchkin, that's fine too. You stop the main quest at the point of no return or you don't progress in it until you've done everything else. It's that simple.

Not saying I want a godlike character for the whole entire game, and def not on 1st playthrough. But what's the point in having all the perks, conversation choices etc etc, if you can't use most of them!
As much as i love the game i dont feel like going through tons of playthroughs just to test each perk, or explore and beat everything in the game. The game should be set up to at somepoint allow me to have 100 hack, 100 repair, 100 lockpick, 100 science all at once, so i can at least explore and appreciate all the content in the game!

Most decent rpgs leave you the option to explore at the end of the game, and shock horror, even open up extra contect when ya do!lol! I just think that simple things that add ALOT to the game are not even thought about.

This is however consistent with western rpgs that somehow just miss the point of jrpg staples. ho hum!

Guys, this isn't about continuing after the endgame. Obsidian already said they wouldn't do that and it's very clearly marked that there is a point of no return. My point is that you can experience one story line, plus all the sidequests, and create your perfect setup, something you still enjoy using, and would like to use to experience a different story, but can't. A New Game+ option would allow players to use their favourite builds in different plotlines and twists.

Uh huh! Saying that its a 'fixed ending' sounds like a cheap excuse for we can't be bothered to do this. How does have game plus effect the ending? Its not like there will be a direct sequel to the game where the ending on this one will effect the other. So how does being able to do everything in game effect the ending? It doesn't. The choices you make do.

ANNNNDDDDDDD I would have ALREADY seen at least one proper ending, no plus mode, no full stats , no super weapons, as i have to play it through at least once to open this mode up!lol!
AANNNNDDDD (2) On my second playthrough i know where all the good stuff is and how to max my character as quick as poss, and if that not game breaking, why would a plus mode screw the story?
