Weapons you miss.

if you get Ralph to show you his special weapons you can see some guns that might be familiar to you. There is a rail way gun on the wall and a Infiltrator why they are on the wall and not in the game is a mystery.

They did it to taunt us. ;)

I miss the Terrible Shotgun and the Xuanlong Assault Rifle. I've not tried out all of the NV shotguns yet, but I doubt any come close to this. However, there are very few assault rifles available, at least according to the wiki. All small guns in NV are old style rifles and shotguns. Its ok, but I've not found a gun that I really like yet.

if you're using the PC version you can use the GECK to change what skill & ammo a weapon needs

I can't believe no one has yet mentioned the "bozer" rifle in fallout 2.

It looked like the 50 cal anti personnel rifle in FNV but it was fully automatic. Once you picked it up from the shady sands vendor, everything in the game became easy mode.

The Experimental MIRV was always fun, though I think Archimedes II trumps it.

The Firelance. But I haven't found the Alien Blaster in NV yet so... Yeah.

I heard the unique BB gun is supposed to be in NV but I haven't found it yet either. If it's not, I want it.

The XIX .44 Magnum would be cool. For those who don't know, it's a desert eagle.

Really though, the only thing I REALLY miss, is the ability to shoot people in the groin.

Thanks, I'll look out for it. Have only played about 9 hours so far (too busy with other things :() but I'm looking forward to the Ratslayer or Marksman Carbine. I need an assault rifle, I think. Also, the Anti-Materiel Rifle looks powerful - my strength isn't high enough to use it (its only 5 ) so I'll give it to Boone when I find it. :goodjob:

I'll admit, pickpocketing all of the guards for their Bozars at the bazaar used to be a staple of my NCR visits.

There is a unique BB gun, called the "Albeline Kid" if I recall.

Damage is lackluster, unlike the FO2 Red Ryder. That's another one I want. Yes I know it's in the game, I mean like in FO2 where the damage was good for something other than roaches
