Who are the "good guys" in the Mojave?

[Caesar] also instills honor and loyalty in his legion, even though women are no more than property.

^^ And that's how it should be! Women's rights? HA! What a joke!

Lol just kidding. But the Legion really isn't that bad - the NCR is no better. They are both hungry for power. And House is probably the most evil of the 3 if not on par.

The real problem with the NCR isn't its corruption, it's their expansion. Even if they expanded peacefully without stepping over people, they're still going to run into problems in the long run. Remember, the old world ended because it ran out of resources and the population became unsustainable. There are even less resources in the wasteland. If the NCR continues to grow, it'll face the same resource problem that the old world faced, leading to an inevitable collapse.

Caesar's Legion, as evil and ruthless as it may be, is creating a society that can be sustained by the limited resources of the wasteland. The Legion treats everyone like crap but unlike the NCR and the old world, it doesn't depend on limited resources like petroleum and uranium. It won't face a massive deadly collapse like the old world. The worst case scenario for the Legion is that it'll devolve back into warring tribes of savages. The worst case scenario for the NCR is another massive apocalyptic resource war.

I vote Enclave Remnants, they may not be like the real Enclave but damn it there good enough; except for Cannibal Johnson, he fails...

No one.
No one is good in the Mojave, everyone is out for themselves, you just have to decide if the ends will justify the means they use.

This game blurs the line between good and evil more than any other fallout game. You must truley think about your decisions; it's not like 2 or 3 where it was obvious that Enclave was bad...ish.....
This is probably my favourite fallout game for that reason alone.....

The factions don't have clear sides, and which ever yo choose will greatly hurt people, and greatly help others.
It doesn't matter if you choose your own way either.
Even independence has it's price.

You don't see it in-game, I think, but there's a whole female-only caste of priestesses in the Legion (this could be Van Buren info though, correct me if I'm wrong, but being the Legion, it could still count!). The Legion sees Caesar as its emperor and its god.
So women aren't entirely objectified in the Legion. :)

Boomers.

The boomers are all evil sociopaths. Have you seen their mural?

They might have manners and act nice toward you, but so did the people in Andale.

If anyone's ever read Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, there's a group of people damn similar to the Boomers.
