Well the brush gun shouldn't be anywhere near as accurate as the sniper rifle or AMR. Basically on par with a 12 gauge shotgun firing slugs; packs a heck of a whump, but not good at really long range. The advantage of the AMR is that it packs a heck of a whump, out to any range you can see the enemy at.

It's somewhat short ranged, which is understandable if you consider it as a 'hunting' rifle, rather than a military combat rifle. Hence the name.


Apart from calibre, I equate it to the Marlin .444's or the Marlin .338 or .308 Expresses. Always wanted a .444 or a .338 MXLR. Nice....

I don't shoot much over 100 metres, so the big early thump more than compensates for the lower effective range compared to some other stuff.

And Momaw is correct, falling block and lever action are actually referring to two separate things....falling block is where the breech block rolls or slides down, exposing the breech, and will generally use a lever actuator. 'Lever action' generally refers to the lever actuated repeating firearms, where the breech block generally slides rearward, ejecting the spent case, popping the next round into the feeder, and picking it up and chambering it.
