Forced balance

Am I the only one in this thread that thinks New Vegas is much better balanced than FO3?

No, you aren't. The presence of difficulty alone supports your argument.

Nice, but completely irrelevant. The modding you asked "why can't Fallout do that?" is available, they can do it, and they have done it. You just "voluntarily balanced" yourself out of access to it.

It doesn't have to be Pc to Mod Sims and 100 other games proved that . I think it could bring a new detention to console games .I am not wanting to create new stuff I just want to control whats already there .

But then why exactly do you want to control them? I mean doesn't it (in general) create a vacuum where everything is the same no matter what you did (even with your superpowers)? What's the fun in that?
The whole of the idea, not just the one I quoted.

Plus with the 3 endurance, you're much more limited on implants. How many hours do you have on this build and how is it working out so far? What did you do with the rest of your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. points?

I might try this.

I have about 20 hours on this build (Finals in college... Plus I spend more time on these forums than playing the game) but I love it. It may not be exact in it's realism but it definitely brings the tension up and makes combat more of a life-or-death affair.

Here are the stats:

7 STR
8 PER
3 END
5 CHR
3 INT
9 AGI
6 LCK

Traits: Loose Cannon and Small Frame

Gameplay: Easy difficulty and hardcoe Mode. Only wear Light armor.

The only problem I see with the build is that you need to put the points you don't spend in END somewhere else. I intentionally wanted to play a low-INT character though, so points can be dumped into INT if you aren't worried about that sort of thing. Other than that, it's a cool idea. I wish I remembered where I saw the idea though. That way I could give credit to the person who came up with it.

Flames and name calling has been removed. Warnings and suspensions will be forthcoming. :nono:

Remain civil. Remember that is is often difficult to see anothers view of things but that doing the easy thing and calling them names and telling them they are wrong is not going to change anyone's mind and accepting folks think differently is oft the mature thing to do. Also, if it gets down to namecalling, I warn.
