Quite possible, one of the things Veronica says is that Father Elijah went to go find one of the greatest treasures of the old world.

I just read the newsletter about the first DLC and I don't think I'm interested. It sounds pretty trite, and it's one of those things where you go off to a new region, play the game, then head back to the main game area and carry on with your game, like The Pitt and Point Lookout. What I don't like about that kind of thing is they feel very transitory. You just go there, do it, collect your stuff and leave and it's all over. I'd much rather they add to the existing game world, and lets face it with those HUGE inaccessible areas of the map they've got plenty of room to play around with that.

T.T i miss the good old expations for a game
Fallout New vegas really let things open so you can do stuff after the last quest depending the faction that win
will be cool if they lets us go back to NCR territori (Fo1 and 2 area) and keep doing stuff there.
Or fallow the Gouls to the far beyond and quest there.
Or stuff like that, i hope the new DLC have good quest bc some Brotherhood of steel are in Sierra Madre so i hope there is a good quest there and all the Gosh ppl sound like will have a undercity like in the Pitt that maybe you can join and free ppl or destroy; i just hope is a good DLC.

I will wait and see if they make a DLC that let you join the NCR or the legion and level up rack.

The Far Beyond is supposed to be space. You knew that, right?

I seriously doubt it given the ending I received.

It's been pointed out to me that the archive link isn't working... that'll get fixed on Monday. By now, most folks that signed up at the link should have received the newsletter by now.

Is that sarcasm or has somebody actually made it work in Linux?

Yes, New Vegas works very well in Linux through Wine. I've finished it twice without a problem.
