Looks like we might get a good idea as to whether PC/PS3 users like myself will actually miss out on anything.

December 21st.

I for one will continue to play FO3 w/ Broken Steel and New Vegas. Until they quit catering to Microsoft though, they've lost my money. Unless they start spreading the timed exclusives (i.e. some for PC and/or PS3), I'm not donating my money to them. We're all fans, we're all players, and we all deserve to be treated equally. They are really awesome games, and I've been pretty lucky on the bug side of things (nothing game breaking, no lost companions), but I can't justify paying money to get treated like this. Again, please note that this is my personal opinion.

PC has nobody to bid for a timed exclusive.

Because the company that makes XBox doesn't have the funds to compete with the company that makes Windows?

Because the company that makes Windows has no interest in a timed exclusive for their product, whereas a timed exclusive for Xbox might sell some units.

Nobody buys a new operating system for a DLC, and Bethesda certainly isn't going to create a DLC that only runs on Win7 and not Vista or XP.

A timed exclusive for PC is senseless.

Is that sarcasm or has somebody actually made it work in Linux?

Looks like we might get a good idea as to whether PC/PS3 users like myself will actually miss out on anything.

Even if the DLC itself svcks, PC users would miss out on any new assets for the GECK. That was the main reason I bought them for FO3, more stuff to play with. (Still disappointed that Point Lookout didn't have banjos. But that's irrelevant.)

Nah, they just want to keep the exclusives for their cash cow. MS doesn't receive as big a cut from PC market games, so why should they care?

"Is Fallout New Vegas a Games for Windows title? Will it require Windows?
Fallout: New Vegas is a Games for Windows title. As such, you'll be able to use an Xbox 360 controller if you choose. New Vegas will run with Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7."

Sounds great, can't wait for more information to be provided about "Dead Money." This is one DLC I'm going to buy the minute it is available on xboxlive! There is so many cool things they can do with this premise and I'm looking forward to a new large quest, new weapons, and some awsome armor! Anyone know if the info has been sent yet?

Microsoft gets licensing fees off 360 games. They get nothing off Windows games. Except possibly sold copies of Windows, which isn't happening unless it's a Vista/7 exclusive.
