Let's all congradulate Bethesda (come He! or high water)

Aaaand we have more b.s. What is it with this place? Where do these statements come from???

Ok - BioWare made the Balders Gate series amongst many others - with BG2 probably being the best D&D rules export *ever* to make it to the video game format. On top of that BioWare engines powered most of the classic isometric RPG engines - back in the days of NW, PlaneScape, Icewind etc. Bioware have probably done more for computerised RPG's than any other company in the history of the PC gaming platform, and yes that includes our beloved Bethesda.

Come on people - keep it real.

Bioware was good. Was, they have been dead since EA bought them. Now they make shallow action games that aren't even worth mentioning in the same breath as an RPG.

But unlike Obsidian, BioWare makes shallow, badly written over hyped "rpg's".

seriously ME2 was barely an RPG.

And they made Dragon Age which was the best fantasy prg in almost a decade.

Also, just because they streamlined ME2 doesn't mean it wasn't an amazing rpg. It has the best character development and dialogue of any current generation game to date. I love Bestheda for their open ended games and impressive worlds to play around in, but in terms of story, character development and relationships, and building of tension and climix, no one beats Bioware.

DA was suppose to be the spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate. It ended up being linear and suffering from EA nickel and diming. ME2 wasn't even a good action game, much less a good RPG. Seriously, Bioware makes "Molyneux" games now.

Thank you Beth for making a fantastic game like Fallout 3 that saved the Fallout series from extinction and allowed Obsidian to bring additional great flavor to the series by creating New Vegas.

I think one thing the devs did great in fallout NV was the housing both factional and otherwise.
