Freeplay after main quest

In order for this to happen, they might as well just make an entirely new game. There are too many changes that can be applied to endgame for them to make it all converge on one point.

I don't know why I'm still surprised these topics haven't died yet. :banghead: Then again I am expecting to see them until FO4 comes out and people start complaining about it then too.

OP welcome to the forums. If you have the time please remember to read through some of the old posts so you don't cover the same ground. This topic beat the horse dead, crushed it, burned it, and scattered the ashes. It's not as though it is impossible to have a dlc create an open game, Obsidian said no and they are the creative team and Bethesda is backing their decision. End of story. Now let all begin our lives a new with some nice ice cream. :icecream:

I get a big kick out of the fact that every week or two, somebody new joins this forum, and another one of these identical posts appears, as if they were the first person to consider proposing it in a logical manner

like I always say. It sends Bethesda a messege they already knew for fo4.

only possible way for this to happen is for them to make a completely different disc for the game for all the changes they would have to make

reading this post made me think of this, but anybody else remember those huge (or what seemed like huge at the time) multi-disk rpg games for the ps1?

Yes It is not what you see in a propper Bethesda RPG right? (Oblivion, Morrowind).

It's not a Bethesda RPG.

What is wrong with the Fallout series??

Bethesda's bad writing, with Gamebryo as a close second.

Fallout 3 is much more enjoyable with Broken Steel.

Oh is it?
I found it to break the game and not be worth the trouble.

I also had a bad experience with this when I played my first RPG ever (Bethesda made!) the Pirates of the Caribbean cause this was not allowing post ending play too! Nice idea with the DLCs...

If you have a problem with an RPG ending then save over a dozen or more savefiles regularly and when the game ends you just reload it.
