hmmm courier has no brain, yet can still walk around. Also brain gone is our stuff as well?>

From what I have seen so far it seems another dead money type of DLC. Basically do what we tell you or you die.

Heres a question I would love answered: will my level 40 character be challenged in this DLC or the next ?

Eh, depends really. If you're level 40 your character is pretty much a God. Unless you bring nothing but a 9mm. I dont expect you to encounter much resistance. Even if the enemies match your level.

What if at the end of combat, it makes a digitally enhanced "bark"? It would be like a third companion to have with you. Also, I WANT IT.

So you get a barking HMG with a talking LA. LOVE IT AND WANT IT!

 I would buy the DLC just for this. Help the toaster tap into it and BAM.

EDIT- I vote for having the Toaster as a faction and helping it take over The Sink.

What exactly is The Sink? What news do we have (if any) on it?

this definitely looks like it will be one of the more fun dlc. If only a trailer would be released (or the dlc itself).

The Sink is the Pre War facility that you're in for 90% of the DLC. IMO it's named that because it's basically a sinkhole filled with Pre-War Technology, either that or its made entirely out of sinks.

On the Wiki it is mentioned that the Courier gets his/her brain stolen, and qore mentioned you might be able to change the Couriers appearence. However, it's just hearsay.

In the new Qore exclusive one of the Bethesda/Obsidian reps states that the Courier does indeed get his/her brain stolen and is told they'll get it back after they help.

Sooo.. how can old world blues have a character we met in dead money in it? If you can the DLC's in any order then she'll know you or not know you based on if you did dead money.. and unless they've re-written some of dead money's dialogue what happens if you play old world blues before dead money? Will she know you now?
Maybe she'll only be in it if you've already done dead money.

Common perception is that it will just be a recording of how she was before DM. This would most likely explain the change in voice actors. :whistling:

Then again this is all speculation.

Well to be honest I expected people here on the official forum to be discussing the video frame by frame, not making lists. Anyway something that caught my eye.

Possible Renegade A.I. : "Enough about ME. It has come to my attention that many of you SEEMINGLY innocent children have been subverted by Red Propaganda."

Red Propaganda as in (most likely) Chinese. So we got a rampart A.I. who thinks the war is still on and possibly out to kill everyone and cleanse the place. This might be the "bigger threat" that's been mentioned before. Scientist are trying to stop it and they're kidnapping you to help them recover some pieces of technology.

So I think the main plot is the classical "personal revenge or for the greater good" dilemma. Kill the scientist or help them stop the A.I. Alternate options might exist too.

As for Christine and Ulysses, we will only have audio or video recordings, this I am %100 sure of.

Ave, true to toaster.

Mr House's Brother was always rambling about the reds

sorry im late. can i still do a list?

1. point lookout-10
2. honest hearts-6
3. broken steel (if it wasnt so glitchy)-9
4. dead money-8
5. the pitt-8
6. mothership zeta-7
7. operation anchorage-6.5

yea, i know that honest hearts is number two rated six and everything below it is rated higher. the ratings are how good they are for what type of dlc it is. honest hearts is my second favorite, but as an open world exploration dlc it fails miserably. and even though i hate MZ and OA, theyre supposed to be all about combat, and theyre pretty good at that
