Honest Hearts Won't Start on PS3

Post » Wed May 18, 2011 10:58 pm

How could Bethesda skrew up this badly, this is there 7th Fallout DLC in total (including Fallout 3). 1st PSN is down for a month now i have to deal with trying to get my DLC for Honest Hearts to work, ive heared nothing but good reviews for it, but right now kinda feel like i may have wasted 10 bucks... yea i know it's not much but i could have used it on something else. I'l probly end up getting the game of the year edition with it all on there anyways just like i did with Fallout 3 but still i payed for it, I really wanted to play it. I also noticed all of my itmes from Dead Money are gone all my gold bars, weapons (still got the spears though?), and clothing, wich svcks. The assissns armor ( i believe thats what it was called (its been awile been playin black ops and resident evil 5 a lot)) was my favorite. If and when they get this figured out and fixed i better get all my stuff back.

Ha! What could you possibly buy for ten bucks that beats the amount of gameplay, content, and items in Fallout DLCs? You going to buy some more "Map packs"?

Fallout DLCs > CoD map packs.

Anyone know if the Canadian version of Honest Hearts will work with the US version (BLUS-30500) game disc? Did they solve this issue for Canadians with US versions for Dead Money or is this problem back again? I don't know why they don't just offer both versions like they originally had with Dead Money. It's rediculous.

When you buy from the store, before the purchase, there will be a disclaimer at the bottom, that goes something like: "You must have BLUS-30500 to use this content". If your code doesn't match, DO NOT buy it.

I know that, hence why I haven't, but I... ugh... read this: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1168737-attn-to-those-in-canada/

This is why I'm asking.

It's Sony's fault they choose what downloads go on the stores in which regions.

I had the same problem. I could not play any of my DLC. I now have it working. Here is what I did.

1. Delete all your Fallout: New Vegas 'Game data' under 'Game Data Utility'. DO NOT DELETE YOUR SAVED GAMES!

2. Download and install only Honest Hearts

3. Run you New Vegas disc and allow the game to download and install patch 1.05

4. Then let the game install.

You should then be able to load your last save and have you Honest Hearts DLC work just fine. it did for me.

This worked for me!
My HH DLC was recognized, raised level caps to 40, but no radio signal, gave it hours chance, but nothing.
After a 2 days of trying different things I read this and the radio signal popped up instantly. Thanks
**UPDATE** After finally being able to start HH, I noticed my level cap wasn't raised. I then downloaded Dead Money, installed it, loaded my HH save, and level cap was raised.
The instructions above say install Only HH, unaware if that is necessary, because I followed the instructions, then installed DM after realizing the level cap problem. But i definitely needed DM to work out all the bugs.
Thanks again!
