Armory's? Forts?

No doubt a player with more knowledge of available mods than me out here can give you some info on options in that field.. my money is on Tojka tbh.

:lmao: Well, i'm impressed that you think so.

But all i really can pitch is the same as ever, A World of Pain. It has quite expansive "Undergorund New Vegas" with some bunkers, though i've not seen any that IMO would qualify as military bases

McCarran was a military base, the fortifications were made pre-war..

I sympathise with the original poster, I played FNV before F3 and I thought F3 was a bit short of casinos.

I thought he was only suppose to be in Lonesome road?

If you watch the latest Qore episode about Old World Blues, they feature the voice actor who plays Ulysses. Now the entire Qore episode was about OWB, yet they showed off the actor who plays Ulysses. Why would they show him in an episode dedicated entirely to OWB. Maybe Ulysses plays a minor role in, OWB before Lonesome Road. Maybe his part in OWB is just lending voice to holotapes, computer recordings, etc. I don't know why they would show him off in an episode entirely focused on OWB if he wasn't going to be in it.

A World of Pain adds a TON of 'dungeons' and they are pretty darn well done for a mod!

Crap I owe Elmo a crapload now or it's going to be legs backed over by a car time.
Have to say the OP's got a point, despite not personally needing bunkers / forts, the ones there are in NV imo ( just mine ) could have used some more flavour texts.
Whether pre war, or based on events going on around the time the factions all started to move into the area.

Elmo lives.

Flavour text.. sorry I put texts.

Meaning characterful and descriptive background infomation, relating to places, people and events.
History of places, what happened to make them survive or fall, NV had lots of places but little info on what happened, except through the occasional NPC.
On a lore point of view little was explained or open to interpretation... again in my personal point of view, which unlike many is open to argument.

In fact, one of NV basher's strong point is NV have too many background text but not enough audio and visual clue. Yet you said Vault 34, Nellis and Hidden Vally are lack of them, but in fact they have a rich share of information (text, audio and visual) how they survive, if not way more than armouries in FO3.

Point of contention.... I never mentioned those places in relation to this side topic OP did, I was refering to all those huts, hidden safe houses and cave hideaways.
And the buildings around NV, except for house tools I don't think many had backgrounds, just loot.

Second point of contention...... where in the entire history of my posts have I said "I hate NV".
I find this tribalism silly, disturbing and completely ludicrous.

I raised a single sole point of what I thought was interesting to myself.. so unless I post "NV rules" ( which it does ) I'm a basher?

This is why I create Elmo posts.

Well if your referring to me as a basher your severely wrong i wasn't bashing the game i was saying that there needs to be more bunkers and a nice little story behind each one. Or something interesting to deal with them.

But i loved the National Guard Depot that place could feel like a maze kinda. Plus you needed all those pass-codes to get the real goodie tucked away in there.

Tribalism... Yes, that's a good word for it. A bunch of people running around clubbing each other with their opinions :lmao:

It tells really nothing about Nellies all just that it was there before the war and is used to store planes. It tells more about the "tribe" that settled there.

And... what has that to do with what i wrote? (Incase there was a misunderstanding, i was referring to the sides of a certain recurring debates on these forums, not the ingame "tribes".)
