Please forgive me if I don't agree. It was put rather simply by another person on these boards. It was something along the lines of:
The people who are complaining about the game are making more noise than those who are having a good experience since those that aren't having many problems aren't posting it online.
Which is true. Of course you're going to be able to find a ton of complaints in a Google search. Very few people are going to come online to say "Hey this game is great! I'm not having alot of problems either." Instead you hear over and over "This game svcks and I can't play it!" I'm not trying to make light of people's problems... It really svcks that some people cannot play it. However because the noisiest people are the ones who are complaining, saying that the game was rushed to release is opinion because you don't have all the information you need to make an honest judgment on that.

Surely the fact that there are so many complaints to begin with suggests that the game was in fact released too early? I mean sure, there's always going to be the odd complaint with every game. But when the complaints roll in on the scale that they have with this game, there is a problem. And that problem should have been fixed before releasing the game. When you take into consideration the sheer amount of complaints being made, it's no wonder that the complainers are the loudest.
Here's some numbers for you, just to help you understand just how many complaints are being made.
The "Fallout: New Vegas General Discussion" forum has been open since, at least, the 27th of January (earliest post I could find). Let's just say it's been active since then, that's 291 days. In those 291 days, 10,792 topics have been created.
Now.. The "Fallout New Vegas Hardware and Software Issues" forum has, obviously, only been active since the earliest release date. Which if I'm not mistaken was the 19th of October (?), 26 days ago. In those 26 days, 4,959 topics have been created. That's almoast half the number of topics that have been created in general discussion, and they've been created in less than a tenth of the time.
Does that sound like a well made game to you?
