Well, Pandemic Studios went under two years ago. Why another company hasn't picked up where they left off is anyone's guess.

Because LucasArts said no. They have the actual rights to the series, so they're the reason we haven't seen Battlefront III. Or Bounty Hunter II, or X-Wing Alliance II, or Republic Commando II etc...

I loved the first one and the second was pretty good as well. Would be nice to see a third.

That, and the fact that every developer that comes in contact with Battlefront 3 ends up going bankrupt or gets shut down.

Ah, Battlefront. How I miss my 266 frenzy awards.

A third one would be alright. Im worried they might bomb it, but if they did, with new consoles, maybe they could pull something extraordinary off. Like multi-area battles, through space and land.

That was the original plan. That trailer was amazing.

battlefield gameplay, star wars setting? Count me in! :foodndrink:
As it was stated in previous posts, kotor 3 and jedi knight 4 would be bliss, but a new tie fighter game would do the trick, although it wouldn′t appeal the masses. :shrug:
