to open end the very last DLC or not?

I am with darkman here, I absolutely love that I can go back to FO3 and roam around do random things and explore and mess with raiders and other re spawning NPC's. With New Vegas though they made most of these sides quests undo-able unless you restart and chose a different side, which to me seems like a cheap way to get players to play again :/ and while I would love another Broken Steel type DLC I do not think it would actually work in NV since you couldn't go back and finish quest's and quite frankly since its 99% desert there's no where to explore :/

And the point of the roleplaying with diffetent characters, choices and consequences is?

i am on an 360 but i also have on the computer. i know on my comp they alrady have a mod out to free roam. but i will agree its not like F03 where there are things to chase down and alot of hidden places to go back to. NV has a whole did not or dose not have roaming raders and such . and the ones that are there are stuck in thier spots. this was more or less to see what folks thought on it. i must say there where some good points made but i think when the last DLC comes out we will have to wait for a new fallout to get made. so thanks for the post folks it is good to see

No, thank you for being reasonable.

What it really boils down to is F3 and New Vegas being very different. F3 is an environment with a main quest grafted on; it was easy to continue play because there was very little to contradict. Almost every character and location in New Vegas is tied to the main quest; in order to implement a satisfying freeplay you might as well just make a sequel.
Cheers!

So, you're mad because the game doesn't let you get 100% completion in one go?
