So, I've got some money with which I'm planning on buying a $20 PSN card (credit cards are not to be trusted on online sites such as the PSN, as far as I'm concerned). I want to buy two Final Fantasy games off of the PSN ($9.99 each), but there's a problem. Since I live in New York state, I have to pay tax on online purchases. So, while the games are advertised as $9.99 each and while I will have $20 in my account (technically $20.51 due to a remainder of $0.51 from previous funds), I'm only going to be able to purchase one of the $9.99 games because taxes will result in me being a few cents short and as far as I know, there aren't any $25 PSN cards or similarly marginally-more-than-$20 cards.
I refuse to do anything illegal such as pretending I'm in a different state or any of those other things such as that, but I'm wondering if a prepaid credit card would function on the PSN, instead. I'm not even sure if what I'm looking at are prepaid credit cards, but basically, what I'm looking at http://www.mastercard.us/prepaid-gift-card.html Does anyone here know, for sure, that I wouldn't just be wasting my money?
