Casey Anthony found not guilty on 1st degree murder

Post » Wed Jul 06, 2011 2:07 pm

I doubt they'll find any new evidence. The only person who would know where to look is Casey, and she isn't going to self-incriminate.

Well, hopefully they don't stop looking. Someone needs to pay for the death of that little girl.

I'm really kinda glad it's over. However, I've been so sick of it on the TV all day and night, I turn it off and actually do other things that I should have been doing in the first place. I feel like I got a lot done instead of my habit of watching the tube more often than I really should.

I think she killed the girl based on the circumstantial evidence, but the burden of proof was on the prosecution...and the outcome is what it is.
It makes me sick how the media picks and chooses what cases to follow and run into the ground. Things like this happen all the time and they don't get the attention this got. Folks love to watch a train wreck and the likes of Nancy Grace knows it. Gah!

Now if I could only maintain my newly found habit of ignoring the TV. I'd personally be a more productive person. I admit I'm somewhat of a news junkie, but I can only stand so much of a case like this day in and day out.

It's OJ all over again. Another guilty party walks free, having trolled our legal system for all its worth. Sick.

I really didn't watch this trial or al the evidence. But why did the little girl have duct tape on her mouth, and yet somehow they found her drowned to death?

HUH?

technically, they found her skull out in the middle of nowhere, the defense claimed it was a drowning accident, and the prosecution claimed it was murder. Key thing to note is that her skull wasn't submerged. The Defense claimed death occured in the Anthony's family pool, the prosecution claim was chloroforming causing death.

oh, and no matter which story you buy, the body wasn't in the same place as any of the supposed scenes.

I remember hearing something about duct tape. Anything about that? Then again it might be another case. I never followed the case(because there have been plenty of murders like this before), just wondering why the media has its hawkish eyes looking down on this case so much?

There was duct tape covering the front of the skull, going from side to side with the upper half on the maxilla and the lower half on the mandible, as when someone covers a human mouth with tape.

They did this after death?

Was it the mother that was heavily tried on?

It just seems when I watch some of these videos the whole family seems to give off a guilty vibe.

I think the defense alleged that the skull had been tampered with by the person who found it, but considering the pictures it seems like the tape would have had to have been applied after the flesh had been lost.

Only Casey Anthony was charged with crimes, but a crucial element of the defense's strategy was painting the entire family as unrepetent liars. It seems to be a strategy with some grounding in truth.

I can't say I would know the full story, but it seems the parking meter guy had something to do with it whether he was trying to collect some kind of lost reward, or possibly "may" have known something or participated in the murder.
