but this has one super massive flaw. it would mean operatives would dominate the game by being able to kill multiple targets without anyone knowing who shot them.
it would bring extreme paranoia to both teams as nobody would trust anybody on there own team and it would just turn into a massive brawl with everyone shooting everyone they see on there own team in case the might be an operative.
if you had 3 operatives on each side of a team operatives would be trying to kill there own team mates instead of the enemy because they would visually look like the enemy when they see an enemy player open fire and not change out of disguise.
operative have a good balance the way they are now in the game. they are the only class to be able to get at least one free kill while in disguise if you shoot the enemy from behind. you could then disguise yourself as the enemy you just killed and make multiple kills in a chain by doing this over and over again if you were good enough.
they can hack and take control over an enemy turret from a far away distance for even more kills without endangering your own life.
and my favorite is for a security operative to disguise himself and then escort the bot. which you will be amazed at how far you can escort the bot if you are a good actor and try to act like your a real enemy player and trying yourself to work out why the bot is moving but there are no security players near it.
so that's my opinion on why operatives are fine the way they are.
