Noone's said Dylan Moran yet? Saw him live, and I've never laughed so hard in my life.

Other than him,

Ricky Gervais
Russel Brand
David Mitchell (I know he doesn't do stand-up, but all his appearances on panel shows and on http://www.youtube.com/user/davidmitchellsoapbox are amazing)
Charlie Brooker (Again, not stand-up, but his TV shows are amazing)
Eddie Izzard

I'll add Eddie Izzard, Des Bishop, Richard Pryor, ...damn i'm so bad with names.

If anyone from UK/Ireland has comedy central I could use some help. There is a real good Canadian comic, with long hair and huge beard on one of those stand up shows they keep repeating.I would really like to catch his name so I can find more of his stuff. All I have to go on is that description...and his hair was brown I think. His jokes include anecdotes of possibly illegal activities.(In a fun way)

Tracey Ullman
Catherine Tate

Nothing funnier than a funny British woman.

If I gotta throw a guy in the mix it would be Rhod Gilbert.

I love British comedy.
