Unofficial Pokemon Thread #16

Am I correct in saying the only thing that can reliably take down a Wobuffet is a dark type with special attacks, due to Mirror coat being psychic? As for IV's, my tolerance is 20 and above, unless it's a stat that doesn't belong on a certain type of pokemon. For example, a high special attack IV isn't going to be worth getting for a Machamp.

Right now, I just defeated the elite 4 the first time in pokemon white, with a team of 55s being Samurott, Krookadile, Zekrom (had to), Eelekross, Cobalion (ended up killing almost everyone), and Archeops. I must say, a single or double sword dance with Cobalion was a [censored] train, killing almost everything in 1 hit. My Krookadile must also have been some hot [censored], as he nearly killed Zekrom with a single earthquake.

Or a ghost with a physical attack to counter...counter.

Since I beat the elite four, I've been using my Samurott as an HM slave. I'm still keeping Encore as a move in case I want to breed it.

You could taunt it and swords dance / calm mind to max attack or special attack or beat it with toxic or leech seed before it uses safeguard. Or even PP stall it with Metapod if you really wanna show off. A mixed sweeper with encore can encore it into counter or mirror coat and then use the other damage type or buff up.

I've always loved the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6Ka6TX9q_U&feature=channel_video_title. Even more so than Gen 1. Though Gen 1 has the most memories. I'm hoping the next console pokemon game is a combination of PBR and Coliseum :P
