:o Well this is Officially my Favourite Medieval Weapon

Flails. You almost never see flails in fantasy video games. Is it because they'd be much tougher to animate properly?
They had flails in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bard%27s_Tale_%282004_video_game%29. That game was awesome. My favorite medieval weapon...No clue. Probably the elephant if that counts. :D

Do yourself a favor and stop watching Deadliest Warrior. They don't know jack about any of the stuff they talk about.

I don't really take it all that seriously. It's just an entertaining show, much like 1000 Ways To Die.

How come nobody has said their favorite is The Fork of Horripilation? That is mine.

I'm quite capable of using a Longsword, and the Claymore but my favorite weapon of choice are the different variety of axes.

I like axes and club/mace/flails in general, no specific favorite.

In RPG games, I use one above mentioned as my primary melee weapon.

Call me old fashioned, but my favorite is the longsword.

I'm quite partial to the basket-hilted claymore (that is to say, the one that ISN'T six feet tall. Probably couldn't even lift that one).

I quite like the trebuchet-propelled badger, personally.

I always found foxes to be a touch more aerodynamic.

There is that, but a very annoyed badger being propelled towards someone at high velocity is going to cause more damage than a fox, which will just make a weird noise and then bugger off.

http://lambcutlet.org/albums/Zheng_He_and_Maritime_Asia_Exhibition/A_Yuan_Dynasty_hand_cannon_which_Chinese_merchants_would_have_used_against_pirates.sized.jpg I love those old proto-rifles. The flintlock is my favourite, so sleek and weighty, but they were much later.

The power of the longbow is awesome, though I'm only proficient with modern recurve bows.

http://i485.photobucket.com/albums/rr212/Qeros/SAM_0409.jpg :I need a better way of binding it. I learnt how to make metal axes at high school archaeology class, I just need a suitable amount of iron ore, a mould and a heat source that can melt iron.

Less sterotypical:

http://www.mostinterestingfacts.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/1.Knobkerrie.jpg :I wonder if I could carve one.

Aztec http://www.plu.edu/~krippaew/img/macuahuitl.jpg. :The lack of metalworking, coupled with the brittle nature of obsidian, led to a wooden sword studded with shards of obsidian, sharp enough to cut the head off a horse.
