Digimon

Post » Fri Aug 05, 2011 9:04 am

Yes, I remember Digimon.........no further input, as I don't remember any details about it, but I am going to watch them as we speak, or, type.

Though there was this one movie I watched all the time as a kid, I think it was actually the first Digimon movie.

But after age 7, i pretty much stuck with Yu-Gi-Oh!

Wait....all I can find on youtube is Digimon Frontier, which I did enjoy when I was younger, but I prefer the original series....

I'm watching the movie on youtube right now, and I think I am enjoying it more now than I did as a kid. :celebration:

Its actually very funny, and the characters are actually believable as opposed to Pokemon.

I never actually knew there were movies. What where they about? I assume they had nothing to do with the series.

The one I am watching is a movie about the Tamer series, and it has a lot to do with the series, there is a link to the first part of it in my first post, oh and yes, Sora is very hot. Matt was always my favorite character though, http://www.google.com/imgres?q=Digimon+Matt&um=1&hl=en&tbm=isch&tbnid=IPaSpOFDsTDjIM:&imgrefurl=http://www.absoluteanime.com/digimon/matt.htm&docid=XuDZS6g3vOSSeM&w=145&h=455&ei=qAU7TqPEIsStgQf52-SLAw&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=222&page=1&tbnh=205&tbnw=65&start=0&ndsp=15&ved=1t:429,r:5,s:0&tx=22&ty=101&biw=1024&bih=653

I liked Digimon when I was younger. I preferred Pokemon though so tended to watch that instead. I quite liked Yu Gi Oh as well, that was great.

I prefer Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh! as I always felt Pokemon's "plot" consisted of, "Hey look a Pokemon, hey looka a pokemon, hey look a pokemon, hey looka pokemon......"

Cheers.

I also played Digimon World a lot, I didn't recognize the name at first but I looked it up and it all came rushing back. I absolutely loved it, I just couldn't get my Digimon to digivolve for some reason, I was at the jungle/swamp level when I stopped playing.

Oh wait, I am thinking of a completely different game. My bad. Don't remember its name, it was basically D&D Digimon style.

EDIT: I think I may have found it, Digimon World 3 seems to be very similar to it.

EDIT: Nope, that's not it......must not have been a very popular game.

EDIT: Found it! It was http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digimon_World_4 Played the hell out of that game.

I used to play a Digimon game on the playstation 1. You had to feed and take your digimon to the toilet lol, or else he'd crap himself. Only played it for a couple of hours though, it wasn't my playstation (I never owned a console). Do you know the name of the game?

That'd be Digimon World (the first one), I have so many fond memories of that game...

Sometimes I would turn the TV on and it would just be on the first channel, so I watched it. I never followed it, just thought it was interesting. I do remember playing some digimon games on the PS1 and those were really great!

Man I used to be obsessed with Digimon. I used to pine after Matt. Hey, it was my 2D crush phase, don't judge.
Matt was cool, he wasn't a constant dike like Tai.

I always thought it was trying to be like Pokemon but failing badly (a copy, dare I say?)

Digimon had way better characterisation than Pokemon. Like the arc where they're all seperated by Devimon, and you see the way the clashing personalities are forced to work together, the confident Sora and terrified Joe, ditzy Mimi and logical Izzy.

I freaking loves Gatomon's voice. Kari's was cool too, if only because when I saw it recently I went "That's Yukimaru from Disgaea 2!"

She's awesome. For some reason she reminds me of Yiasemi, lol. True story.

Most probably. Although she's sly too so that's another similar trait.

Also, I've watched 14 episodes today, 11 left to finish season 2. 20 minutes each.

There is so much innuendo it's unreal lol. I would have never understood it when I was younger. The last one I heard:

"Cody and? I will do the heave, you guys do the hoe".
