Can I Trust Amazon?

Yes, its the only place I order things off the internet from.

Just ordered a 3DS (cosmo black) as well as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D from Amazon today, actually.

I order stuff from Amazon. ca all the time and 98% of the time things go great. The other 2% are because the product I ordered came from the UK and was stuck in customs and it took weeks. It wasn't Amazons fault. Another time the company again from the UK got my order and said they sent me the order but it never made it to me. I had to ask them where it was. It took a couple of weeks but in the end the issue was sorted out.

So I would say you can trust Amazon.ca, only problems I seem to have is when the product comes from across the pond. Still that is very rare and in the end isn't Amazon's fault.

Amazon is my primary e-tailer. I buy anything I can from them and have the "Prime" membership for the two day free shipping. Its a rare thing in my home that is not from Amazon. I've purchased PC games, movies, music, home furnishings, electronics, clothing, shoes - you name it. It doesn't matter which Amazon you patronize, they're solid.

I've been buying games exclusively from amazon from the past couple years. I get the games for half the price and receive them in the same week, never had problem :D

I believe it was a prank orchestrated by that one place just for kicks. It happened more than a few years ago, I think.

I do know one of the more recent not-unusual item review raids involved a direct-to-video release of "My Little Pony: The Princess Promenade"...

Wonder what that resulted in...

Hmm...

I`ve been buying from amazon.com since 1999. When they failed me with defective products, I always get refunds back.

Amazon has the best customer service I've encountered. They trust their buyers. They got as big as they are for good reasons.

Be sure to check out the customer pictures too. I go on Amazon every few months and let the related links take me away to places of hilarity. However I do get odd suggestions after word.

Unfortunately I can't find the self liposuction kit or the Urchin organ regeneration device as those were both fantastic.

I really do go above and beyond sometimes, BEHOLD:

Still no Urchin though, I must go deeper.

There it was, the second result you crafty search algorithm!

Amazon has worked great for me... I buy tons of books and dvds through them, and have never been dissapointed. I recieve all my shipments from Purolator who are always on time and handle the packages without messing them up.
Amazon's free shipping is quite speedy as well.. on the west coast of Canada I recieve the shipments in a week 90% of the time.
My only real complaint comes when I order graphic novels which are NOT always the same cover as is shown on the website. This seems to happed 1 or 2 times out of 10, and where the artwork is part of the product, it can be kind of frustrating. However, DvD sets and other books are almost always exactly as pictured and knowing how many reprint variants there can be in comic book publishing, I can forgive them.

They never let me down. One time I ordered the starwars dvd collection but it did not come on time, so they sent another one out for free. I got the new one they sent out in like 2 days, and like a week later the other one came. So I ended up with 2 DVD collections.

What PRICE IS IT?

I have spot some things I have an interest in but there are TWO prices? What’s with this? First in bright red it says 180$. Then it says in the link.

7 new 100$

I click on it and the price says by the amazon name>>>100$

I'm wondering what the hell I am paying for since it did say in bold letters 180$ then it says in the link 100$. Who do I believe? I hope its the 100$ since that is so much cheaper.

Most trustworthy e-tailer with great customer service. Even their PC components are at good prices. Best of all, no sales tax for the state of California (for now) for items bought directly through them.

Love the UK branch of Amazon, very good prices and I've never had any issues with delivery.

Skyrim is currently £27.90 on there, I'll probably order it there.

The red price is the price you pay when purchasing from Amazon itself, and the number "new" or number "used" is the lowest price you can get when purchasing from a third party seller. If you buy from a third party seller, your transaction goes through Amazon, but the seller is the one who ships it out to you. If you click on the new or used links you'll see multiple offers from different sellers. Some items aren't available at all from Amazon and can only be purchased from third party sellers.

Personally I try to stick with only buying from Amazon but the few times I've had to buy from a separate seller went fine.

Amazon is completely trustworthy, though I can't speak for the number of resellers that operate through it. If you order directly from Amazon, you may end up paying a bit more than some of the cheaper reseller options, but you're guaranteed to get your product quickly and reliably. I can't necessarily speak for the various shipping companies they go through though. If the movie Cast Away taught me anything, it's that your order can end up stranded in the South Pacific without any warning. That's why I stick to ordering only survival products, so Tom Hanks can worry less about his island prison. :P

Amazon's prices are also pretty decent. At the very least, it saves you a lot of money you'd have wated on retailers who overcharge on certain products. Yeah, I could have gone to Best Buy and bought $80 Monster HDMI cables, but the $5 ones I bought from Amazon work just as well at 1/16th the price.

Can I trust Amazon? (.ca)

Are they a reliable service for ordering products off there website? Is it a guarantee that my product will arrive in the mail or is there a good chance that my money will be gone and my product never to arrive? I would really appreciate anything convincing that Amazon is seaworthy (I can trust) or just a site I should stay away from.

I have ordered off BestBuy (.ca) and Future Shop but not always do they have what I need, but Amazon does I'm just not sure if I can trust them.

Thank you

I've done buisness with them and other then having a couple of goofs (mostly due to UPS, FedEx and the wonderful Post Office having memory problems as to where I live) I love buying stuff on Amazon WAY better then Ebay---(still waiting on that Enterprise-E-Ebay :stare: ).
