I've always wanted an older brother, but I got a younger one instead, and lots of younger boy cousins. (Though I love all of them)

That's why I hope my first child is a boy, and 2nd is a girl, so she'll have my dream come true.

Sick, I know. I used to tell people that we took our boys outside on 4th of July evenings and set fire to their hair. Then watched them run around like human sparklers.

That's one pastime you can take up when you have kids, make up outrageous stories and watch people's faces.
