Favorite types of missions? Opinions on love interest in cam

King of the hill is a good play style. as well as Fortress defence not sure if you guy's know that one or not.

Fortress defence is okay but one team can set up camp (defenders) and get the upper hand.

To be honest, assortment. I never care what type it is as long as it does not get too similar all the time.

Case in point: Assassin Creed, yes repetitive as all get out but still fun to just platform.
Glad they fixed it in AC2 and AC:B

I've always wanted to storm a beach in a multiplayer game. Fight up a bit of a hill and invade some manner of castle or fortress.

Now, Little John! The door! King John's tyranny ends tonight!!

In a game like this I would rather not have love interest. And I love area denial because it's like wave after wave of enemies and it requires a lot of teamwork to keep them out.

That's the beauty of being light we can climb the wall and run over the maze. Aren't we clever mice?

Reminds me of an Assassins creed puzzle where it's a chess board and you removeyour king to show that you won't play by the rules that you were given. ^_^

I played Fortress Defense while paintballing with some buddies. The funny thing is, we weren't playing Fortress Defense we just got held up in the fortress. It was a good game, got a lot of compliments on how we held it together from the refs and the opposite team.

god i hate games that incorporate 'love' into it. the only place 'love' would fit in would be in a game that is literally about love: .....pormo games

on that note take dragon age 2. why would they think that if im interested in slaying dragons i am also interest in having my character decide who to virtually bang. and this time they even went as far as to add homosixual relationships. *sigh*

And that's not really love...It's just six games.

I guess I understand why a love story is wanted...You are a badass who only knows how to kill...but if you are going for realism, you balance the person with emotions and feelings...

Seriously, what is Area Defense and Denial? No one answered that, lol. :D

I don't usually play online, so I don't play some of these modes or recognize the names of them.
The only one I cannot recognize is the "Area Defense and Denial" mode.

Is that like a "Capture the Fort/Fortress?"/"Mark your territory" kind of thing in which one side captures (or marks with graffiti or colors) the building/area/whatever and has
to defend against the others side (whose job is to assault and capture the area/fortress)?

Or is it you sabotage or mark the area in order to deny the area to others?

And I guess the goal is to keep the area or the most areas you can capture to yourself (or your team)?

Area defense is where you defend something like an objective. You stay in that area and keep the enemy from performing the objective.

Area denial is similar but usually a main route or high volume area and you guard it so the enemy can't easily use it.

Engineers with mines and turrets are usually the area defense and denial people.

Oh, okay. Thanks.

That sounds a lot like Brink's going to be, lol. :D

(Sorry, my internet connection's acting derpy and slow today, so I may not respond as fast as I usually do, lol)

Yeah seeing that there is only male characters, it would have to be a homosixual love interest ... not my thing O.o and the love interest game mode "Don't Drop the Soap!" on the map "Prison"

I figure Brink is mostly gonna be the get here/take this/escort that type of gameplay. I don't expect much of sitting in one spot for that long, even to defend something. Brink strikes me as a very "don't stop, keep moving, one objective to the next" play style.

Well, yes, but that's if your offence.
For example, in the Container City video, the Resistance is preforming a "Area Defend/Denial" at the gate the Security blows up(With secondary objectives).

I'm gonna take a nap during that part. Wake me up when we win. Standing there, defending, and standing there... is boring.
