Would anyone rather have tes 6 before fallout 4

That's why I don't like Obsidian, they didn't really do anything with the IP given to them, except expand the canon. We got a mostly empty map, with fetch quests, and a lot of recycled assets from Fallout 3. The whole game felt like a big Fallout 3 mod, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but if you've played Fallout 3 TO DEATH (like I have) then the whole game gets stale pretty quickly. Obsidian had the chance to really expand on great elements of FO3, and fix some of it's problems. Instead we got the same game, more or less, with new problems.

Plus, not many of Obsidian's games have been very good at all. They just come off as a sub par studio to me. I mean they were given this amazing framework to build a truly great game with, and they fudged it up (IMHO).

I'm not saying I wouldn't buy an Obsidian developed FO4, just that I would rather it be Beth developed.

Thats the thing with Obsidian they make great stories, but when it comes to making games they svck at it. Personally I think it would be better if Obisdian handled the story/dialogue and let Bethesda handle world, buts thats probably not going to happen. I think Fallout 4 will probably be a Skyrim with guns in the end which I think is quite sad. Me, I preferred Fallout New Vegas over Fallout 3 and in the end I would rather Obisdain handle Fallout from now on, but like I said that ain't happening anytime soon.

I'd like to see Beth work on FO4, and have Obsidian do a TES spin-off (just to see what they can do, as I'm curious given how much I as well as many others loved NV) for games to come out in the next-gens early life.

Then switch series and repeat. Obsidian makes another FO spin off, an Beth makes TES VI. Two FP Sandbox RPG's every 3-5 years? Yes please.

Please no. I'd never want anyone other then Beth do an ES. It'll never happen anyway. I'd rather see TES VI. Couldn't care less for Fallout.

Yes, absolutely. It isn't going to happen though.

I see no problem if it's a spin-off. Obsidian did an excellent job with NV, and story is what they are good at. I mean, if Beth is working on something else anyways, I personally would love to see it, simply because it worked with the FO series. Even a prequel would be awesome (maybe something along the lines of, "The Elder Scrolls Legends: The Battle of Red Mountain."). Or perhaps a look at Morrowind as it is now seeing as how it's a wasteland after the Ministry of Truth crashed and Red Mountain erupted, and they have experience with wastelands.

But Fallout has had a few different developers work on it before, even before Obsidian. TES has always been with Beth. Something just doesn't sit well with me in regards to another dev making one. Obsidian put a ton of invisible walls in NV. That simply wouldn't fly in ES.

Fallout 4. Here's hoping Skyrim is a step in the right direction for the series, but if not i'll at least have Fallout to look forward to. :P

Nah, if you want a new series look to other developers.

So all Bethesda should ever have is Fallout and TES? This is what made other video game developers flop in my eyes.

Fallout 4 has a lot of potential. Don't expect it to be like fallout 3 or fallout new vegas. I'd rather have a fallout 4 released on the PS3 and the new TES 6 on PS4. Fo4 with all the juiciness of Skyrim's new engine and still on PS3 would be sweet.

I'd rather Bethesda dropped TES entirely and just made Fallout games.

Let Obsidian do fallout 4 on the Creation Engine. Then Bethesda can focus on :tes:

This.

I'm not a big Fallout fan at all and it seems quite some people have opposed to Bethesda doing Fallout.
Besides if Bethesda would take 4+ years out to make a new TES game you bet it'll be incredibly epic. ;)

It's not like the are releasing a game every year. If there is about 3 years in between each game I think most people would be pretty happy with that. Even to the people who don't really like them I think most people agree, from my experiences, that they're games are not cookie cutter. I'm not saying they should never get another new IP but for now what they have going works.

I didn't enjoy fallout 3 nearly as much as I expected I would. So I'd probably welcome news of a new elder scrolls before news of a new fallout.
