Movies that remind you of Skyrim?

Fire and Ice? Maybe?

Conan and Beowulf get my votes as well. Krull, as someone already mentioned.

Ooh, and Dark Kingdom: The Dragon King has a similar feel to it.

Um... Probably countless others, I just can't think of them. I'm terrible at names.

Not very Skyrimesque, but a classic none the less.

But it had some sort of Deadra lords... yes? :P

Skyrim reminds me of Conan the Barbarian and Beowulf, while Oblivion reminds me of LOTR.

I don't know what it's called but there is some greek mythology type movie coming out on the same day as Skyrim. I think it's just coincidence though.

Immortals.

Conan the Barbarian is an absolute must to watch before Skyrim comes out. Not only is the mood and parts of the setting very similar, but one of the best parts of the movie features the voice of Esbern himself, Max von Sydow.

ha sanyone seen the new 2011 conan?
does it retain the feel from the 1982 version?

while a few recommended the 82 conan, no one mentioned the 2011 one...

I think we're all trying to forget that one was ever made. But to be honest I hear it wasn't absolutely terrible, but it's nothing compared to the original.
