I had to call 911 about 3 years ago (I am sure it was in 2008) after hearing yelling outside my house during the late hours, and after looking outside, someone was on the ground while his "friends" were around him trying to get him up.

I hated that feeling :sick:

I almost called a couple of years ago. I had just gotten home from work and heard a motorcycle engine revving, followed by tire screeching, followed by a sickening crunch outside (I live on the 17th floor of a high-rise condo building in a big city). I went to the window and saw a traffic stopped, a smoking ball of metal and plastic, and two people lying in the road. Motorcycle accident...the guy driving was "hot dogging" in the wrong neighborhood and crashed with his girlfriend on the back. They weren't wearing helmets. There were a lot of witnesses, so by the time I had the phone in my hand I could already hear sirens. The girl that was on the back of the bike died. It was terrible. It's the only accidental death I've ever witnessed. I won't go into any more detail than that.

Only called 911 twice. The first time I had to call 911 was when some [censored] thought it would be hilarious to light the hay fields that surround my house on fire. I was working on a project with a friend at the time and oddly didn't even notice or smell the smoke surrounding the house until a neighbor pulled in to see what was going on; luckily they did or we might have not even noticed until it was too late. It took two whole fire departments to take on but they stopped it before it got to the house.
The second time was a family incident but it probably wasn't necessary, I just wanted to make sure things to get too out of hand.
