Preparing for Skyrim .

You're buying SR3, but not Skyrim?

You say that like it's not a perfectly good idea. Saints Row 3 is going to be an insane amount of fun, Skyrim is going to be like being run over by a bus full of game-breaking bugs, bad writing, terrible voice acting, boring lore and mediocre graphics.

You don't know that either of those facts are going to be true. I'm personally going to wait for reviews and first-hand opinions before I get anything that's coming out this year.

I've upgraded from a 19" CRT to a 32" flatscreen because I'm sick of having to squint to read the tiny text on games (cough*dragon age 2*cough). Besides, I want the whole Skyrim experience!

I'm going to prepar by playing Killzone3, Dead Space, maybe Batman: AA if I can get my hands on it, watch some She-Ra episodes, eat chicken wings from Hooters or maybe some BBQ and probably sleep, watch tv or YouTube videos.

New GPU is needed. Either a HD 6850 or, for about $20 more, an HD 6870.

Depends on my PSU, actually. Haven't cracked the case to see if I've got two open connectors or only one.
