Devs have stated that there will not be singleplayer campaign on release. But AFAIK, they said something about possibility of adding one later... or was it speculation on fan side...

Right & I'll decide on whether or not to buy it IF they release one, for the moment it's not an option though, so there is a chance I may buy it later but in part it depends on them.
