I'd assume from other comments that it was something to do with a mans personal super-happy-fun-time

Ahh, I was actually going to recommend that. :hubbahubba: I wasn't sure if it was brought up. Plus, I learned that in six Ed so I thought it'd be fitting. :celebrate:

Stress ball?

I tend to listen to music when stressed. Then again, I listen to music to fix most of my problems.]

Really easy question

Pick one
  • Alcohol
  • Cigarettes
  • Marijuana

I disagree. I don't believe you should rely on substances to relieve you of problems like stress.

Don't listen to those who drink/smoke their problems away. Those things will only aggravate you more and make everyone around you just flat out hate you because of how you'll be acting.

I have a suggestion:

Step one: Do everything you can in the time you have.
Step two: Front up and say, "My login device arrived late, but I have finished this much, and if you give me _realistic estimate of time required_ I will have the rest done"

I figure direct honesty shouldn't make things worse, an' there's a chance you'll get some slack if you don't make up excuses (I would've got it done, but the thingy arrived late and...), show some effort (by doing most of the work), and state simply what you need to complete the task. Might help to go to him rather than waiting for him to find you (to avoid giving the impression that you're trying to avoid the issue), but it depends on the individual.

Whether this helps or not, I hope things work out okay for you :).

Hey guys. I'm in the army right now and they've been having me do a bunch of different stuff (not physical online classes) and I'm being told by my line chief that I have to have all of my certificate's in for my classes by tommorrow night. Problem is, I didn't get issued my login device until tuesday and I've been trying to get all my stuff done and it's getting down to crunch time and it's not happening.

I need some stress relief tactics cause nothing is working right now.[deleted]

Yea, get use to stuff like that. Its going to happen your entire military career. I listen to music to relieve stress but thats just me.

I went to a Catholic school so I wonder why they never encouraged us to use that option of stress relief :P
