My first rpg must've been The legend of Zelda for NES, but the first one that got me really stuck must've been Daggerfall, even though i didn't understand that much english at that point :celebration:

A friend's older brother had the game and teached me all the buttons, and then i loaned it from him, and i still have it XD
And this was back at 1996/1997

First RPG was Swords and Serpents for NES (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhQg-b4j5ZM).

I'd love to play a 2012+ remake :P

The first RPG (video game anyway) that I ever played? Easy question, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJ6uHOhf2AA Though, some would debate Adventure was the first, but it is clearly an Action-Adventure and appropriately named as such.

Ooh, colour graphics. Nice.

Puts some of these graphics discussions into perspective when you remember how much fun you used to have playing a dot.

Believe it or not I think it was Morrowind. I wasn't into RPGs before that, instead I always played RTS games like Age of Empires, racing games like Cruisn' World, and flying games like X-Wing Alliance and Rogue Squadron. There were a lot of flight sims thrown in too, I loved me some Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2.
