For only $10,000 a year (£6225.87)
I would hire you :P

If you had more experience working for another games company or some company that you did programming/design work for it may boost your chances further, so would bethesda actually looking for new employees.
Good Luck and Happy Hunting

Ok I'm yours. What we gonna make?

They would probably hire you to mop the floors for 10k a year.

To get in the industry you have to show your skills. You can't just show up with a degree demanding a job. Either ship a game, make an impressive mod, or anything else. Gabe Newell himself said that when they are looking to hire people, they ask for you to show anything you made. Anything means anything. From a flash game to a fully shipped game. Do stuff on your own.

In my opinion, you lack focus: you seem to be a developer (since you created your own game), apparently you're also a designer, and you seem to aspire to be a writer as well.

And as others have said, 10k a year is peanuts. Makes you look underqualified and desperate.

I wonder if Bethesda ever thinks of opening a private school to teach modern day game development?
There is a demand and I'm sure it'll be well attended.

Todd did mention in an interview a while back that he's impressed with some of the game design courses at universities these days. Years ago, they weren't taken terribly seriously, but they've - um - upped their game more recently. Finding a reputable course at an established university is your best bet there.

That makes sense. Video games are slowly starting to be seen by the masses as the form of art that they are rather than just a "toy".

Based on what you say http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1270311-developing-a-video-game/? The only jobs you can aspire to at Bethesda for the moment will certainly not involve game design.

I wonder if Beth. has guilds to join if you work there?
The artists guild - the writers guild - programmers guild - etc.
You could join the magic circle (legal dept) or fighters guild ( security ).

you forgot the thieves guild...

that would be marketing
