It's the controller that has me worried the most. Using the dimensions (5.3 inches high) and the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii_U_controller I calculated it to be about 9 inches wide, which is huge. The controller in general just looks incredibly uncomfortable. I hope it gets seriously redesigned before release otherwise I don't see how anyone can use that controller for prolonged play.
It really makes no sense to have the screen on the controller, it should be a separate thing. It is impossible to use both of the anolog sticks AND the screen at the same time, and I don't want to look down at my controller in the middle of a game to get some information. It's just bad design as is.
As for the Wii U's specs -- specs for consoles are fairly useless as you can't accurately equate consoles to PCs or even other consoles as there is too many differences and factors. Have to wait for games to come out before you can see what it's capable of.
