Just an update these guys hit their 50% mark today and still smooth sailing. My nerd senses are honestly tingling. There are just not enough quality aRPGs.

I was wrong I pledged a dollar to the http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rileydutton/roll20-virtual-tabletop-gaming-that-tells-a-story. That will be my last one. Hahahah. As for grim dawn I'm glad to see it getting this kind of funding. Its a lot harder to fund something not done. We'll have to see how those games turn out and if it was worth it. With Grim Dawn though we can see what we're going to be getting. It's not some nebulous concept of a game that might exist.

An update: they are sitting at 64% of their goal. They just put out 3 updates including new pictures on the front page, a revised intro ( first couple paragraphs) they added a new pledge tier which gives you an extra copy of the game at a discounted price. As well as a new musical track which sounds great. Check it out!

I just upped my pledge because they put out an updated tier today with a Logitech G400 Mouse limited @ 25 pledges. My old mouse is basically falling apart.

I'd love to support them (and I will eventually considering they reach their goal), but that broke university student stereotype seems to be remarkably true.

Trust me I feel the same way, i'm transferring next year to a University and loans + spending money it's all way to over whelming knowing how little money I have.

OT: They just released a new update #7 about sound and music creation! Check out the video.

Looks like they're on track to meet their goal. I hope they can do it.

I hope so they are doing good, avg about 7k a day. I just hope they pick up a bit more. Trying my best to get the word out but some times people just don't wanna hear it especially with Diablo 3, Path of Exile etc :).

I absolutely despise gunpowder in my fantasy games, but here it looks like it fits. The art direction also has no WoW taint in it, which is reason enough to play this over the disappointment that is Diablo 3. Titan's Quest was highly disappointing to me, considering the classes and bosses of the game, but it was still fun as hell and I loved the depth of items and statistics. Skills were pathetic, however. This looks to be a great game. I will put down 18 before the time goes out. If they don't make 280k, they get nothing?

That's correct if they don't reach their goal of 280,000 they will get none of what they made.

Also if anyone wants to check out they are doing an IAMA on reddit now (2 hours old but still active)

Awesome thanks for the support. I know Titan quest was certainly no Diablo 2. But it did sell good, i'm surprised it hasn't gotten a huge rush from TQ fans.

I don't know many huge TQ fans, to be honest. I know many who liked the game ok but when they were done with it, they were done with it, so perhaps that's a part of it...many of them adopting a wait and see policy.
