I wouldn't call it "scarred", but I'll never forget The Brave Little Toaster, especially the song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UfsEj7AOGI. Some context for those who haven't seen it: in the movie, machines and general household appliances are secretly alive (sort of like Toy Story, but with pretty much anything electrical), and they view the humans who create, own, use, and maintain them as, basically, gods. The main characters have trekked across the country to find their missing owner, only to find he has newer appliances, who convince them he wouldn't even want his outdated things back and trick them into being sent to a junkyard. There they watch as broken cars that have been discarded by humans are crushed, singing their own elegy in their last moments. It's a powerful and depressing scene.
