Getting downed + killstealing

I think that, when the game comes out, we need to put together an 8 man team with 5 operatives and see how it goes, this is starting to seem epic.

This is starting to sound like a lot of dead operatives. On a related note do we know anything new about Friendly Fire being on or off by default (I'm sure there will be options to change on all 3 platforms). I remember something from the Devs saying that FF was on by default to prevent TF2 style 'spy-checking', is this correct? Do we know?

By default team killing will be on, and from the interviews, it seems like spy checking is the main reason why.

In http://www.gametrailers.com/video/pax-10-brink/705430 'Jolly' gets significantly more points for shooting enemies as a soldier than as a engineer or medic

Uhm ... no?

The video tells me that you always get 3XP for damaging the enemy and 20XP for killing one. However, he mainly kills people from full health as a Soldier in the beginning, and thus it might seem he does get more XP.

Only if the operatives are idiots. You can turn FF off or on.

I think most people feel loyal to certain classes and aren't likely to change before actually playing the game.

True, I also know I'll be medic most of the time. However, I also played other SD titles and I know how fun it can be to play 'off-class'
