[WIPREL] ASISPISE Successor Thread #3

Post » Sun May 27, 2012 5:15 pm

did you see my two questions pluto?

Sorry - missed them. :P You just have to add it. There's no default settings for them, but you can add it.

Just add a new header - [NPCMaxSpawnSettings], and add anything you wanted capped underneath it.

If you mean AV, I still had to start a new game to avoid skating animals even with the newest version. YMMV. :smile:

Hmm, if it was an upgrade from the previous AV that's probably true. I think it can be tacked onto a normal save just fine though (hopefully <_<).

Okay and about Spells. Are they added in automatically from all mods or is there somethign I need to do to get a Mod like Phenderix to start adding to NPC's

Any thoughts on why I'm still seeing this:

http://img255.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=54764_ScreenShot2451_122_427lo.jpg

when using the following:

[PatchSettings]
spawn0weight=500
spawn1weight=300
spawn2weight=50
spawn3weight=25
spawn4weight=10
spawn5weight=0

[NPCReducedSpawnSettings]
boss=5
dragon=100

Shouldn't the above screenshot be nearly impossible at those settings? Because I can assure you it isn't impossible or infrequent. I've had similar large multiples of dragon spawns happen at least a half dozen other times and in all sorts of other places around the game world, from down in Eastmarch, up in Winterhold, outside of Solitude and here in this screen on the edge of Whiterun.

Since I'm running a self-modified dragon overhaul that I altered for increased dragon encounter difficulty, each dragon fight on an individual level is a good 10 minute battle, so I'm really not liking all the additional spawns I'm seeing here. I've clean saved, rebuilt the patch at various settings and waited out the respawn timers multiple times and I still see this happen on occasion. So, any ideas?

Whenever Pluto and I get some time away from RL to work on it :P. If I were to guess, I will get the compatibility INIs out sometime this week, with the other features following as soon as we have time.

That is quite odd. The only thing I can think of is that your dragon overhaul may have changed the EditorIDs of your dragons to no longer include "dragon." That would cause the above screenshot. If not, I will need to ask Pluto.

Nope, editor IDs are not touched at all. Standard stuff is all intact, entries such as EncDragon01Fire and EncDragon02Frost have had some stats changed around and had abilities and shouts added in or altered in order to make them tougher opponents but beyond that no change.
