What else did you expect? It's the HD texture pack. Just sit back and wait, next time turn off the auto updates.

It very much is Bethesda's issue. They chose to go through Steam.

Haha. NO. You chose Steam when you decided to buy a game that works through Steam. YOU Made That Choice.

And you were given the solution to your problem with the 1st reply. Run Steam in offline mode and any server busy issues immediately go away. Pigheadedly saying you only run Steam in online mode when you know that won't work leaves only you to blame for your problem.

Fix it the way your were told otherwise you are just being a troll.

It's private property and purchasing it to use it whenever and however you want.

It's called my $60.

No it's not. You've obviously never bothered to read the licence agreement that comes with all software. It is expressly not your property. You only own the licence to use it, within the limitations spelled out in the agreement. And that agreement most certainly does not guarantee error free use, or the lack of any downtime.

You should do yourself a favor and educate yourself on the reality of the situation instead of getting all worked up over your childish misunderstandings and imaginings.

It is not childish to expect service AS PROMISED. Thank Arkay I went grocery shopping... STILL downloading, no matter what server I switch to.

Yes, you can't run a Steamgame that has initiated an update/you bought undownloaded DLC. After that offline works fine.
