No it's not. You've obviously never bothered to read the licence agreement that comes with all software. It is expressly not your property. You only own the licence to use it, within the limitations spelled out in the agreement. And that agreement most certainly does not guarantee error free use, or the lack of any downtime.
You should do yourself a favor and educate yourself on the reality of the situation instead of getting all worked up over your childish misunderstandings and imaginings.
